For decades, the Mitchell family has been handcrafting kayak and canoe paddles right down the road in Canaan, New Hampshire. They’ve considerably whittled down their signature shape for a cocktail stirrer, made just for us. Soft yet sturdy cherry wood is ideal for stirring cocktails, lemonade and the like in glass pitchers without risking chips or cracks.

Handmade for us by The Vermont Butcher Block & Board Company, the smooth-finished stirrer is crafted from locally purchased wood from sustainable forests, and is free of stains, paints, or veneers. The unique grain of a particular piece of cherry wood is highlighted here, and no two cocktail stirrers are alike. And with a lengthy stem of almost 13 inches, this cocktail essential handles single drinks and tall mixing glasses with equal aplomb.
