Our shopping system is established on a secure Internet server that encrypts each order to protect your credit card information as it travels over the web. You will notice that you move into the secure server during checkout before you enter your credit card information. Our SSL is secure and up to date.
Simon Pearce never sells, shares or distributes your personal contact information to any establishment.

How do I care for my purchases? Are they dishwasher safe?
GLASS: All of our glass is lead free and safe in the dishwasher.
Extreme changes in temperature may cause our glass to crack. Glass pieces with handles are particularly vulnerable. We suggest you do not place glass in the refrigerator or freezer to chill. Boiling hot liquids should never be poured into any handled glass. To pour hot liquids into any other glass, place a metal spoon in the glass before pouring. Likewise, intense heat may cause a candleholder to crack if the flame is allowed to burn below the rim.
POTTERY: All of our pottery is lead free and safe in the dishwasher or microwave. We do suggest that if being used in an oven, you bring the dish up to temperature with the oven.
All glass and pottery items are packed with care instructions. Please read them carefully.

Can I make multiple purchases at one time and ship them to three different addresses?
You may ship items to 4 different addresses with our multi-ship option. You may also shop from more than one registry at a time. Browse each registry and add your selections to your cart.
When you have finished shopping, view your cart and proceed to checkout. At checkout, follow the instructions for multiple shipments.

How do I return or exchange an item?
Your complete satisfaction is important to Simon Pearce.
Please contact customer service at 800.774.5277, 9am-9pm (EST), 7 days a week or write to customerservice@simonpearce.com with any questions.
If your items are damaged in shipment, please contact us within 10 business days for a refund, exchange or store credit.
Items in their original, sellable condition may be returned for refund, exchange or store credit up to 45 days after the date of purchase.
All sale merchandise is considered final sale.

Why are there differences in the sizes of the same item?
The measurements given for all glass pieces and pottery designs are approximate. No two handmade pieces are identical, and since many of our pieces are free blown or hand thrown, the sizes will not be exact.

Will you ever discontinue a Simon Pearce item?
Simon Pearce may retire a piece, which means that a certain size or design may become discontinued and removed from production. We strive to communicate the discontinuation of an item long before we deplete our inventory. We do this in an attempt to provide sufficient time for our patrons to complete their collections or replace cherished items.
However, we will continue to take orders on discontinued stemware, as we understand they may be part of an existing collection. Production on special orders for discontinued stemware will begin as soon as sufficient orders have been accumulated, which is usually twice per year. We cannot accept orders on other types of glass or pottery. What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

When is my credit card charged?
We do not charge your credit card until we ship your merchandise. Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping.

How do I know my credit card information is secure?
Our site is secure, our SSL is up to date and in place. To make sure you are accessing our secure server before you submit personal financial information, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. To double-check for security, look at the URL or location line of your browser. If you have accessed a secure server, the first characters of the address in that line should change from "http" to "https".

When I make a return visit to your site, will it recognize me?
At checkout you will be given a choice for our system to remember you or not. If you choose yes, the system will remember most of your information (excluding credit card information). And you may Login to your account if it does not. If your browser is set not to accept cookies or you delete your cookies, the system will forget you. Or it may remember someone else who uses your computer.

How do I remove myself from email and postal mailing lists?
We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you prefer not to receive promotional information from us, either through email or postal mail, please let us know by sending an email to customerservice@simonpearce.com or by calling 800.774.5277.
Your email address will be removed promptly. If you wish to remove your mailing address as well, please include the address in the body of your email.
Please note: When you make a purchase, we will send you emails to confirm your order and its shipment. We may also need to contact you via phone or email, if we have questions regarding your order.

What is your privacy policy, will you sell my name to other companies?
At Simon Pearce we strongly believe that respecting and safeguarding your online privacy is our responsibility.
We have not, nor will we ever sell, rent or make available for use, your personal account information to a third party. We use the personal information you give us to create an account to process your orders. Your email address will be used to send order and shipping confirmations to you and for relevant correspondence regarding your order. If you choose to receive emails from us regarding our products, services and promotions, you will have an opportunity to unsubscribe at the bottom of each email you receive.

What about when it needs to arrive for a special occasion like Mother?s Day or Christmas?
Order until noon EST, 7-10 business days before the required delivery date, choose standard ground delivery and your package should arrive on time. If you miss this deadline, you must ship Next day to guarantee delivery. All next day orders placed between noon Friday and 8:00am Monday, will not ship until Monday afternoon and will arrive Tuesday.

Do you provide gift-wrapping?
We provide a gray Simon Pearce gift box, tie a bow with a gross grain ribbon and enclose an enveloped note card, if you wish. We offer an array of ribbon colors to personalize your gift. You may choose one during checkout.

What is the difference between First and Second Quality?
Due to their nature, seconds are not available for sale online. Second Quality glass and Second Quality pottery is available in Quechee and Windsor, VT and West Chester, PA.

The nature of our handblown glass and pottery is such that each individually made item will have its own character and will contain minor imperfections and variations from piece to piece. All Simon Pearce glass and pottery must meet specific quality control standards for size, weight, height and shape. It is then qualified to be sold as a first or second quality item. Second quality items simply meet a slightly more relaxed standard but are equally as durable as our first quality items.

How do I create a registry?
To create an online registry, go to "Registy," "Create" and fill in your email address and a password that you will remember. Please be sure to write this password down for future reference.
Next, please fill in all shipping information and the event date. Simon Pearce will automatically send gifts to the addresses you request so please be specific. Be sure to put in your co-registrants name so your guests may search for your registry by both names.
You will next be asked to confirm the information. Please do so.
Now you may add items to your registry. Have fun! Add as many items as you'd like to your gift registry, giving your quests plenty of options. Once you are finished adding items, you may email your registry information to your Maid of Honor or Event Coordinator and as many of your guests as you'd like.
When you are finished, be certain to select "save and log off" or your information may be lost.

How do I locate a registry?
You may search for a registry by either first or last names of the registrants, the event date or the actual registry number. Simply select "view/search" from under the "registry" option on the top navigational bar, fill in any data you have regarding the registry and select "find registry."
Once you see the names of the registrants you desire, simply click on it and the gift registry will be displayed. You may view product details and purchase products that will be directly shipped to the registrant's address.

How do I make a purchase from a registry?
You may search for a registry either by first or last names, event date or the registry number itself. Simply go to "Registry," "View/Search" and fill in the information you have. Select the "search" button. Once you find the registry you're looking for, select it (click on it) to open. From here you may view all the products that have been registered for. To view each product's detail simply select it. You may add items to your cart by selecting the "add to cart" option. The gift will be automatically shipped to the address specified by the registrants.

What if I've registered for items that become discontinued or retired?
Occasionally at Simon Pearce we find it necessary to retire or discontinue a few items from production in order revive our inventory and make room for new products.
We realize, however, that you may be registered for some of these pieces. If you wish to know whether you are registered for any retired items, you may email us at customerservice@simonpearce.com or call us at toll free 800.774.5277. An associate will gladly go over your registry with you.

How do I change my password?
You may change your gift registry or your membership account password by logging into your account with your email address and current password. Under " My Membership Information" select "EDIT" and you will be taken to the password page. You may change your password here.

Do you offer any note cards or print materials?
Yes! We can provide you or your Maid of Honor with printed note cards. They can be used to provide your guests with the appropriate information about your Simon Pearce Gift Registry. These cards may be used when inquiries are made regarding gifts or when a shower invitation is sent. Simply email us at customerservice@simonpearce.com and let us know how many cards you would like.
